Our order processing is fast! Orders received by 10:00 noon CST Monday thru Friday will shipped the same day, after 10:00 noon, orders will be shipped the following day. Saturday and Sunday orders will be processed and shipped on Monday. After you have placed your order you will get an automated email receipt stating the order has been processed, once in the shippers hands you will receive an additional email from the carrier with your delivery date, and tracking number. We now utilizes USPS for shipping to PO Boxes, although not listed as an option on the shipping page, if you choose UPS Ground and your address is a PO Box, flagsandkites.com will utilize USPS for your delivery. The cost associated with this delivery will be the same as the corresponding UPS delivery cost listed in the shipping options. We are happy to support all our troops overseas and in the USA by offering shipping to APO/FPO boxes. Orders are shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service) which normally takes 3-5 business days for delivery. USPS tracking is not available for APO/FPO deliveries.
CALCULATING SHIPPING COST AND TIME
Shipping costs are rising everyday! The prices you see are real time shipping results from the websites of USPS or UPS, while trying to keep the shipping costs as low as possible, we have no control over this cost. To calculate the shipping costs, select the preferred shipping method in our shipping section. To get the exact shipping cost, place items in your shopping cart and proceed to the checkout, enter your shipping information and continue to see the actual price for each shipper, choose an option and continue.
Items shipped are inspected and are free from defects. Any damage done after the items are shipped is not the responsibility of the shipper. Damage that occurred to a shipment will be the fault of the carrier. Any damage must be reported so Flags and Kites can help with any loss or delay in shipment. Inspect all goods and items before signing; damage occurs less that 1% of all merchandise shipped from Flags and Kites. After receipt of your order. Flags and Kites will process your items and ship within two business day, (approx. 48 hours).
All our items are not in stock at all times in our warehouse, there are times when it may take a few days to replace stock on high demand items. If we find that an item is not in stock, you have our promise that we will ship your order as quickly as possible, out of stock items usually ship within 4-7 days.
All sales are final unless given prior approval by Flags and Kites.
If you choose to return an item or refuse delivery on an item, you will be responsible for the shipping incurred by us to send the products to you, as well as the shipping to send the goods back to our suppliers or Flags and Kites. You will also be subject to a 25% restocking fee on all returned items. All items must be in new condition with all proper packing material and paperwork shipped back to us. If the goods cannot be sold in new condition, a refund will not be issued and goods will be rejected, or available for you to pick up and ship back to yourself.
Items that Qualifiy for Free Shipping
No returns on special orders, sale items or items that were shipped free, If you decide to return an item that qualified for free shipping, you will be responsible for the original shipping incurred by us to ship the item to you plus the shipping back to our supplier. Flags and Kites cannot be held responsible for delays in shipping after it leaves the warehouse.
Be sure that the item you are ordering is what you want and the size, color, shape, design, etc; and the item you order is exactly what you are looking for. If you are not sure, please ask us for any additional information prior to purchase. Returning an item can become costly and the credit card company will refer to this page as a reference that you understand this information and accept these terms and conditions posted on the Main Page of our website under “Shipping and Returns”. The credit card company will not be able to dispute the transaction if you simply decide to return the goods, or refuse delivery. The above fees would still apply with no recourse.
Wrong Order - Our Mistake
If you placed an order and we made the mistake of shipping out the wrong goods, we will be responsible for the fees involved in the pickup of the goods. Wrong order does not include substitutions for a better quality item or slight variances in colors, etc. This is for completely incorrect items.

If the order was a mistake on your part, you will need to pay for shipping back to us as well as be subject to a possible 25% restocking fee and the shipping we incurred to get it to you. There may be other handling fees as well. You are responsible for your own mistakes on any order. If you place an order over the phone, you are responsible for the order as we can only order what you tell us. Please place your order online to be sure you are ordering the correct items. An email is sent to you with your ordered items. Confirm this information as soon as you order your goods to make sure its 100% correct PRIOR to shipping.
How to properly receive Heavy Items shipped via Freight Lines
Delivery is curbside only. You will need to arrange to bring the products into your home or yard. The freight line on large orders is only allowed to deliver to your curb. You will need to inspect all goods prior to signing for the merchandise to assure there are no damaged or missing parts.
In the event of freight damage, replacement parts can be sent out to solve most issues with your items. We would need to ensure the freight bill was signed as damaged and would require you to send pictures of the damaged items to us in email or regular mail. Upon receiving pictures, we can start the process to solve your issues. Parts can only be sent out if you signed as damaged, or we have a paid freight claim from the carrier.
We strive to have 100% customer satisfaction and realize that problems can occur with merchandise during shipping. Please advise the driver of any problems before you sign and get all problems in writing signed by you and the driver. With proper documentation, we can all get what we want in the end;

RETURNS: WRONG ADDRESS
When either USPS or UPS returns a package back to Flags and Kites because of a wrong or un-known address supplied by you, the customer, we require a check for the original shipping cost plus a corrected address for re-shipping. We will ship your package only after the check has cleared the bank, usually within 10 working days. To pay this shipping fee via credit card, call us at 1 615 896 7201. If you decide you would rather have a refund and not have the package re-shipped. NOTE: We will not refund the original shipping cost and a restocking fee will be charged at a rate of 25% of original invoice. If the original shipment received free shipping the credit will be issued minus the actual shipping charges paid by us.
